Trail Camera Season

We finally have gotten some nice warm weather! Let the main food plot planting season begin! I know a lot of people have other things to do and on there mind this time of year with the fishing season and summer comming around. But I incourage you when you have some free time to pull out your old trail cams and give the a quick check over. I like to go through all of my SD card and save any left over pictures of last season so I can Keep track of certain deer. I then clear all of the pics so I have maximum storage capacity and I'm ready to go and don't have to worry about it when I'm in the field. It is a very good ideal to pop the SD cards in and a new set of batteries and test each camera in the house or in the backyard. I will look for a decent deal on Lithium batteries so I have enough to last most of the season. I recommend Lithium batteries. They should work in every camera brand and believe me they last a lot longer. Lithuim batteries just work better and your trail cameras will perform much better as well. The good part about testing your cameras now is this way you won't have any down time should have to send one in for repair or wait to get a new one. And you won't be waisting time and or fuel going to check a camera that isn't working properly. Over the years I have had SD cards fail too. So this should eliminate any bad cards as well. Another good idea is if you are using many different camera brands is to keep the the SD cards seperated from the other brands that way you won't have any formatting issues. So get out there. Get those cameras ready! BTW we will also be stocking the Browning Recon Force FHD model so be sure and check them out. Thanks and be safe out there!
